Exam sessions
Exam sessions are scheduled according to the EXAM SCHEDULE OF THE FACULTY OF CIVIL AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING
The exam dates for each course, agreed upon the Board, are available on INFOSTUD
Exams are regulated by the Capo IV del Regolamento per gli studenti e le studentesse dei corsi di Laurea e Laurea Magistrale
Access to the exams
To access the exams, students are required to book individual exam sessions via the INFOSTUD portal. The exam schedule is published for each course at the beginning of the A.Y.. The ordinary exam sessions will take place at the end of each teaching period; there are also extraordinary sessions for particular categories of students in October/November and March/April.
Please note that students who intend to take exams that are not mandatory must necessarily have a Study Plan approved by the Board, in which they opt for such courses.
Anticipation of exams
Anyone who has already taken all the exams scheduled for the current A.Y. and for the previous A.Y.s can request to anticipate two exams per year, subject to the Board's authorization, which must issue a specific document and simultaneously communicate it to the Teaching Office, which will proceed to enable exam booking on Infostud. Authorization can only be granted if the exams for which the advance is requested are in the same degree programme ("ordinamento") as the course in which the student is enrolled. If the degree programme is different, authorization can only be granted on the condition that the Infostud code of the exam is the same as the code of the same exams scheduled in the previous programme, considering the A.Y. when the request is submitted.
Students can submit this request to the Board through the Teaching Office only when all the exams except one of the current A.Y. have been completed. Following approval of the request by the Board, the Office will enable the exams, which can only be taken once all the exams scheduled for the current A.Y. have been completed.
English language proficiency test (Bachelor's Degree)
To acquire the required CFUs for language knowledge, students can opt to produce alternatively, documentats certifying the achievement of the B2 certification (or higher level) for students enrolled starting from the A.Y. 2024-25, or B1 (or higher level) for students enrolled in previous A.Y.s.
Students can send the certificates to the President of the Board only if they were achieved during the enrollment period or, at least, in the two previous years, as indicated by the Faculty. The list of certifications recognized by the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering for the English language is shown on Faculty site.
